Online Booking Terms and Conditions


We ask you to read our Online Booking Terms and Conditions as you will be asked to confirm that you have read and understood these before your booking can be confirmed.

Online Booking Process

The following are the main steps to making an online booking:

(i) First Step: Selection of the service – On all our forms for booking purposes, you will be asked to required you preferred boat cruise type. Select the boat cruise of choice if any of those are suited for what you are looking for. In case you are looking for something else, then please send us in inquiry via email which you can find at the footer of our website, or give us a call.

(ii) Second Step: Based on the criteria you provide, Elite Yacht Charters Algarve will provide you with an offer matching your needs via email when applicable. The ‘offer’ is legally defined as: – a service which includes a selected boat category available for a chosen duration with selected options (if any) – a rate which is always 50% prepaid.

(iii) Third Step: Acceptance of the offer: You will be required a few details and confirm that all contact, boat and date details are correct prior to confirmation.

(iv) Fourth Step: Confirmation: You will then be asked to confirm this acceptance*.
*It is the users responsibility to confirm all boat details and extras pricing PRIOR to booking the boat.

(v) Fifth Step: notification; Elite Yacht Charters Algarve will send you confirmation of the booking (if applicable). The confirmation notice will include the details of your reservation.

Reservation Details

Booking Date: We can accept bookings for the same /next day and 12+ months’ notice.

Minimum Rental Duration: The minimum rental period is standard for 2 hours.

Maximum Rental Duration: We can accept bookings for longer periods of time (than the established 7 – 9 hours a day) – please contact Elite Yacht Charters Algarve directly to arrange.


Your Elite Yacht Charters Algarve charter quote takes into account BOAT PRICES ONLY. This quote generally includes the following items: the price of the boat (including discounts and special offers), the fuel of the trip, the 2 skippers and your drinks (Champagne, Wine, Beers, Soft-Drinks, Waters).

Additional charges to your basic rental rate may include: – Obligatory extras: Specific requests, Food, or any other extras clients may want. Additional equipment: for further information on additional equipment, you need to contact Elite Yacht Charters Algarve directly to confirm pricing.

Payment / Means of payment / Deposit terms and conditions

1. Payment

50% of full payment is required upon securing booking and final payment can be made 48 hours prior to the trip.

Failure to pay 50% upon booking does not secure your booking.

2. Means of payment

Payment can be made using the following means of payment:

Bank Transfer: Elite Yacht Charters Algarve Bank account details are provided on the booking confirmation and accept payment in form of bank transfer. If payment is made by bank transfer, it is the responsibility of the renter to ensure that the correct amount is transferred (in reference to exchange rates for EUR € prices). The renter also accepts responsibility for payment receipts being forwarded to Elite Yacht Charters Algarve and ensuring that payment has been received by Elite Yacht Charters Algarve.

Credit card(s): Debit or Credit cards usually accepted are “Mastercard” and “Visa”.
Warning: Payment using credit(s) card(s) is (are) accepted in accordance with the limits authorised by your credit card issuer;
Payment using credit(s) card(s) is may be applied legal tax of 2%;

Paypal: Valid Paypal account holders can choose to pay the confirmed amount via Pay pal and are provided with the details and opportunity to so on the booking confirmation.

3. Changes to reservation: Modification/Cancellation Policy

You can modify or cancel your reservation online after it is confirmed, provided it is done within 48 hours of the original booking confirmation. To modify or cancel a booking, you need to contact Elite Yacht Charters Algarve customer service directly by phone.

Please note that in order to modify or cancel the booking confirmation you must have the booking confirmation ID, name and details of the renter on the booking agreement.

Cancellation before embarkation:
Over 48 Hours : 20% cancellation fee will be charged
Under 48 Hours : 100% cancellation fee will be charged (no refund)

Important: We always try to help and find a solution for our customers. As soon as you can see that you might cancel the booking please get in touch with us. We are happy to help and will find a solution.

4. Guaranteed reservation Policy

In the event the booked boat cannot be provided during this “guaranteed period”, Elite Yacht Charters Algarve will contact you directly and provide you with the option to book alternative boats that are available. In the event of accident or boat damage prior to the “guaranteed period” an agreement will be reached for a suitable replacement or alternative date.

Flight / Train delay
If for any reason the renter is delayed for the booked date, it is the sole responsibility of the renter to inform and contact Elite Yacht Charters Algarve of the situation.

5. Failure to Collect

Failure to show at booked reservation date or time of boat trip without notification from renter of delay will result in the booking being cancelled with full charge. The local partner is at liberty to allow another booking to proceed the same day.

6. Failure to Return

Failure to return the vessel at the designated ‘check-in’ time will result in extra charges. These extra charges will be indicated and charged by the Local Elite Yacht Charters Algarve Representative.

7. Request for information or queries

If you need additional information on your booking and for any query prior to your arrival at the booking location, please contact the customer service team at Elite Yacht Charters Algarve on the email address or numbers provided on Boat Charter Algarve or Luxury Boats Algarve and on your booking confirmation.
